Sri Swamy Vivekananda Hps School

We are based in Bevanal, which is near Kampli in the Bellary district. Our school is a local place that serves the families living in this part of the state. It is a simple building, nothing too fancy, with classrooms that open out onto a central area. The weather here in Bellary can get very hot, so we try to keep the rooms as airy as possible. We have been part of this community for a while now. The school day starts early before the sun gets too high. You will see the kids walking in from the village, some carrying their bags and others talking with their friends. We have a few teachers who have lived here all their lives, so they really know the families and the children. We spend our time teaching the basic subjects and making sure the students are keeping up with their work. There is always a lot of dust in the air around here, so we are constantly sweeping and cleaning to keep the place presentable. The office is small and filled with registers and files that we use to track everything. We don't use any big words or complicated systems. It is just about showing up every day and doing the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the power goes out or we run low on supplies, and we just have to make do. It is a quiet life here in Bevanal, and we are just happy to be a part of it.
