Jawahar School

Jawahar School. We are based in Cowl Bazaar, which is a very active part of Bellary. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something going on in the streets. Our school is right in the middle of all that. The building isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Students come in from the nearby houses and the market area. You can smell the food from the stalls nearby when the wind blows the right way. We have been running this school for quite some years now. It’s a place where local kids come to get their basic education. The classrooms are small and we keep the windows open for air, even if it brings in some of the bazaar noise. Our teachers are hardworking people from Bellary who understand the struggles of the families living here. We don't have a big budget for fancy things. We spend our time making sure the kids learn their math and science properly. The playground is just a small open patch where they play some cricket or kho-kho. It gets dusty in the summer months, but that's just how it is here. Most people around Cowl Bazaar know us. We are just a local school trying to help the community's children get a decent start in life without any fuss.
