Rymec College

If you are looking for Rymec College, we are over in the Cantonment area of Bellary. Specifically, you’ll find us at Room No. 2 inside the Rymec Campus Boys Hostel. It might seem a bit odd being tucked away like that, but that’s where the office is set up for now. Bellary gets really dusty and hot, but the campus has some trees that help. We handle a lot of the student affairs and management from this spot. It’s a small space, mostly filled with files, a couple of desks, and some chairs for visitors. People come in and out all day asking about classes or hostel fees. The building has been around for a long time, so it has that old institutional feel to it. You can hear the students playing outside or talking in the hallways. We don’t have air conditioning in the main office, just the ceiling fans that have been there forever. It’s a busy place because there are so many students living right here in the hostel. We try to keep things organized, but with so many young men around, it stays pretty lively. Karnataka winters are nice, but most of the year we just deal with the heat. We don’t put on any airs; it’s just a workspace for running the college affairs. There's a small shop nearby where everyone gets their pens and notebooks. We don't have a lot of decorations, just the necessary notices and maybe a calendar. It's just a regular part of the college environment here in Bellary 583104.
