The J N S Residention School

The J N S Residention School is located in the 590009 area of Belgaum. It is a place where students stay as well as study, so things are pretty busy around the clock. We have dormitories and dining halls alongside the usual classrooms. Living and working in the same place means there is never really a quiet moment. You hear kids talking in the hallways late in the evening and getting ready early in the morning. Belgaum has a nice climate for a school like this, though it can get rainy. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It is a basic setup with beds, desks, and a place to eat. The staff spends a lot of time looking after the students since they are away from home. We have our hands full with managing the kitchen and making sure there is enough food and water. Sometimes things break, like a leaky tap or a fused bulb, and we have to wait for the repairman to come out. It’s just part of running a big residential building. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big ads. Most people find out about us from their neighbors or relatives. It’s a community effort to keep everything running. We focus on the daily needs of the kids and their lessons. That’s what our life is like here. It can be tiring, but we have been doing this for years now.
