Ghps Hanama Sagar (Gov School)

We are the primary school over here in Hanama Sagar. It's been around for quite a long time now, serving the kids in our part of Belgaum. Most people around here just call us the government school. Families in the village send their children to us because we're close by and it’s convenient for everyone. The building is pretty simple, with basic classrooms and a big dusty playground where the kids spend their breaks. It gets quite noisy during the day, but that’s just how schools are. Our teachers come from various parts of the district and they mostly focus on getting through the daily lessons without much fuss. It isn't a fancy setup with modern gadgets, just a regular place for learning things like math, science, and Kannada. We have a few old trees in the yard that provide some nice shade when it gets hot in the afternoons. Sometimes the walls need a new coat of paint or the roof leaks a bit during the heavy monsoon rains, but we always find a way to fix things up. Most days start with the morning prayer and then it's straight into the books until the final bell. It's a busy spot with lots of running feet and the sound of children playing. We don't have a big budget, so we make do with what's available to make sure the kids learn to read and write properly. It’s just a local school doing its bit for the neighborhood kids.
