Brightland School

Brightland School is situated on Bekkeri Road in Raibag. It’s a bit of a drive out if you’re coming from the main part of Belgaum, but it’s a good spot. The air is a bit clearer out here. We have a decent building and some open space for the kids to play. It isn't a massive institution with thousands of students. We keep things on a smaller scale so we actually know everyone’s name. The teachers here have been with us for a long time. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just open the doors in the morning, teach the classes, and make sure everyone gets home okay in the afternoon. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but we deal with it. The playground gets a lot of action, and things break, so there’s always a bit of maintenance to do. We don’t have a big PR department. If someone wants to know what we’re about, they usually just ask one of the parents who already send their kids here. We focus on the basics like reading, writing, and making sure the children behave themselves. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. The office is small and usually has someone waiting to talk about a fee or a missing textbook. It’s just life at a local school in Raibag and we wouldn't change it.
