Bhojne & Mhaske Farmer Producer Company Limited

You can find us at house number 276 in Vita, which is part of the Kannad area in Aurangabad. The Bhojne and Mhaske families started this along with some other local farmers. We decided it was time to stop working in isolation and start acting like a group. Our office is just a part of the house where we keep our records and meet to discuss the season. It’s nothing special to look at, just some desks and chairs and a lot of agricultural calendars on the walls. We grow things like maize and ginger, and the work is always changing depending on what the sky looks like. Aurangabad can be very dry, so water is always our biggest topic of conversation. We aren't trying to sell you anything with fancy words. We are just trying to get our harvest to the market and hope for a price that lets us plant again next year. Sometimes the market is good and sometimes it’s bad, and being in this company helps us handle the bad times a little better. We do our own bookkeeping and handle our own problems as they come up. It’s a very hands-on way to run a company. We are just local people who know the land and want to keep our farming traditions going while trying something new with this business.
