Our group, Dhanora Bk Ss Farmer Producer Companylimited, is basically run out of House Number 42 in Dhanora Bk. This is Bansi Patil’s place, and it’s where we all meet up to talk about the business. We are located in the Ambajogai area, which is a tight-knit community of farmers. We didn't want to go and rent some expensive office space in a town when we could just use what we already had right here. It makes it easier for everyone to stop by after they finish their work for the day. We are just a bunch of locals who think that working together is better than working alone. We help each other out with seeds and try to find better ways to sell what we grow. There aren't any bosses in suits here. We all wear our everyday clothes and speak our minds. Sometimes we sit on the porch and stay there for hours just trying to figure out a solution to a problem with the crops. It’s a very simple way of doing things, but it works for our village. We don't have a website or any big advertisements. People around here know Bansi and they know us, so they just walk up to the house if they need something. It’s a practical, neighborly way to run a company, and it suits the life we live in Dhanora Bk.
