Algapur Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are a group of people from around Kapnapar village. You can find us over at Dulan Ahmed’s place near Kalibari Bazar. It’s right there in the Algapur area of Hailakandi. To be honest, we just started this because we wanted to work together on the farming side of things. It’s not easy being a farmer out here sometimes. There are a lot of us in the village and the nearby parts who decided to join up. We spend most of our time out in the fields or meeting at the house to talk about seeds and crops. It’s a quiet place for the most part. The rain has been a bit much lately, so the roads to Kalibari Bazar are a little messy, but we manage. If you’re coming from the main part of Hailakandi, it’s a bit of a drive but not too bad. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a room at the house and a lot of mud on our boots. Most days it’s just us talking about how to get things to the market without losing too much money.
