Our place is out in Village Thelkoloi. It’s in the Rengoli Tehsil area of Sambalpur. You have to go through Lapanga to get to us. It’s a big site because dealing with power and steel takes up a lot of room. There are a lot of people working here from the local villages. It’s not like an office in the city; it’s a real working plant. The dust from the road and the heat from the furnaces are just things we live with every day. We’ve got our own rhythm out here in Sambalpur. It’s a long way from the main highway, but it’s where the work is. Thelkoloi isn't a place most people visit for fun, but for us, it’s home base. We see the same faces every morning. The tea stall nearby is where most of us end up during breaks. We don't have any polished brochures. If you come here, you’ll see people in work gear and heavy boots. That’s just the nature of steel. We handle the power side too, which is just as busy. It’s a lot of coordination between different departments. Things can get a bit hectic when a big shipment is going out, but we’ve done it so many times now it’s just routine. It's a solid, local operation that has been running for years in this part of the country.
