In Jharsuguda, we are located in the Abhilas Building, which is part of the Bimla Bhawan premises in Purna Basti. Jharsuguda is a real industrial town, so there is always a sense of work being done all around us. You can hear the trains and the distant sound of machinery if you listen closely. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space with some chairs and desks. We spend our hours tracking shipments and dealing with the local steel and power logistics. It’s a busy environment because so much is happening in this part of Orissa. The dust from the industrial areas sometimes finds its way into the office, so we are constantly wiping down the desks. We have a small team here and we’ve all worked together for a long time. There is a lot of back-and-forth communication with the main plants. Sometimes the phones are ringing off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the clock ticking. We don't have a cafeteria or anything, so we usually bring our own food or get something from the small stalls in Purna Basti. It’s a very practical way of life. We aren't interested in being fancy. We just want to get the orders processed and make sure the paperwork is in order before the end of the shift. It's just a regular day's work for us.
