We’ve been based here in the Jharsuguda area for quite some time now. Our office is set up at Tularam Naik's place in Purna. It is a busy little spot in this part of Orissa. People often think working in the steel and power industry is all about massive machines and loud factories, but for us, it is mostly about the local folks who show up every single morning to get things moving. We deal with the daily chores of the business. Sometimes the weather gets really hot around here, but we just keep at it. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist or anything like that. It is just a few desks and some old chairs where we sit to sort through all the paperwork that comes in. It stays quiet for the most part, at least until the transport trucks start rolling in and the noise picks up. We have known the people living around here for years. If you are ever looking for us, you just need to head toward the P.O. and ask someone for directions. Most of the locals know where the Tularam Naik house is located. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get home on time. It is not really glamorous work, just steady and honest. The paperwork piles up on the desks, the phones ring at odd hours, and we just deal with whatever comes our way. That is just how life goes here in this corner of Orissa. We keep our heads down and do the job.
