Sri Jalalingeshawara Horticulture Farmers Producer Company Limited is a local group of farmers here in Adapur Village. We use H.No.103 as our base, which is very close to the Government Primary School on the main Ilkal Road. We focus on horticulture, so we deal with things like fruits and vegetables rather than just grains. It is a different kind of work that needs a lot of attention. We formed Sri Jalalingeshawara Horticulture Farmers Producer Company Limited to help us get our produce to the bigger markets without losing all our money to middleman fees. The house on Ilkal Road is where we organize the transport and keep our records. It is a simple place where we often drink tea and discuss the latest prices in the city. Adapur Village is a small place, so everyone knows where we are. We don't have any corporate training or fancy degrees. We just know the land and what it needs to produce good food. Sometimes the harvest is great and sometimes it is not, but we face it together. If you are driving down Ilkal Road, just look for the school and you will find us nearby.
