Sachin Farmtech Private Limited operates out of a space that is part of Jagadevappa Devendrappaap Hirerugi’s place in Indi. It is not like a big corporate office you might see in the city. It is more of a practical spot where we keep our tools and look over the farm plans. Being in Tq Indi means we are right in the middle of the farming community, which makes sense for what we do. We spend a lot of our time out in the dirt rather than sitting behind a computer. The office part is mostly for keeping the receipts and the technical manuals for the machinery we handle. You can usually find someone there if you knock, but often we are out helping a neighbor with their irrigation or looking at a tractor engine. The building is sturdy and does the job of keeping the sun off us during the hottest parts of the afternoon. We have been working in this area for a while now, and everyone knows where to find us if they need help with their farm technology. There is always a bit of grease on someone’s hands and some mud on the floor from people coming in from the fields. We don't worry too much about keeping things looking perfect as long as the machines are running and the farmers are getting their work done. It is a small team and we just handle things as they come.
