Kerur Agro Exim Private Limited

We've been working out of the oil mill area in Mahalingpur for a while now. It is the one belonging to Mr. Basappa Veerappa Kerur. The 100 Kva A transformer is a big landmark for us here in Bagalkot. Things get pretty busy at Kerur Agro Exim Private Limited, especially when the harvest comes in and everyone is moving stuff around. We deal with agro exports and imports mostly. It's not fancy work, just a lot of checking bags and making sure the trucks are loaded right before they head out of Karnataka. The dust from the mill is part of the daily life here. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or find something else to do that doesn't need the lights. Our office isn't much to look at, but it gets the job done for us. We spend a lot of time talking to the local folks and trying to get the best crops we can find. Bagalkot has some good land, so there is always something happening. You’ll find us near the mill most days of the week. We started this because there was a need to move our local goods to other places. It is just a handful of us making sure everything stays on track. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the seeds and the grains that come through our doors. That’s pretty much us in a nutshell.
