Our office for Raita Negilayogi is tucked away in Kittali village, which is part of the Badami Taluk in Bagalkot. We are operating out of Shivanagouda Hanamanthgouda Patil’s place. It’s a very local thing, nothing corporate about it. We started this because the farmers in our area needed a way to bundle their produce and get a fair shake at the market. Being in a small place like Kittali means everyone knows everyone. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. Usually, we just sit around in chairs and discuss the crops and the upcoming season. Farming in Bagalkot can be tough because of the heat and the water situation, but we try to manage. We aren't experts with big degrees, just people who have been working the soil for generations. The company is our way of looking out for each other. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we help each other out with it until it’s done. We handle things like seeds and fertilizers and try to get them at a better price for all the members. It’s a simple life here, and our business reflects that. We just want to see the local farmers do okay and keep their families going. It’s a lot of responsibility, but since we are all in it together, it doesn't feel so heavy. We just keep our heads down and work.
