Shri Ambica Rice And Pulse Mill is situated on Sarsa Road, right in the village of Chikhodra within the Anand district. It’s a rural setting, so we are surrounded by farmland on all sides. The mill itself is a large, practical space where we process the rice and pulses brought in by the local farmers. It’s not a clean or quiet place. The machinery is loud and generates a lot of dust that settles on every surface. We don't have a team of managers or a corporate office. It’s just the family and a few workers who know how to run the equipment. We’ve been a part of Chikhodra for many years, and people know they can find us here on Sarsa Road. We don't bother with websites or social media. Most of our business comes from the relationships we have with the farmers nearby. The building is made of corrugated metal and concrete, and it gets quite hot inside during the summer months. We spend our days hauling bags and making sure the machines don't break down. It’s tiring work and we usually go home covered in grain dust. We don't make big promises, we just do the milling work as it comes in. It’s a simple way to live and work in the Anand area, focusing on the basics of rice and pulses every single day without making a big deal of it.
