If you come down to the Marketyard in Od Bajar, you will find us right there. We are Shri Ranchhodrai Rice & Puls Mill, and we are located in Umreth, in the Anand district. Being in a market yard means there is never a quiet moment. There are always tractors coming in with grain, and people shouting over the noise of the engines. Our mill is a busy place, filled with the smell of raw rice and pulses. It’s a very dusty environment, and we all end up with a bit of it on our clothes by the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. Most people just know where we are and what we do because we’ve been here for years. We spend our days making sure the milling process is going right and that the sacks are filled and stacked properly. It is hard, physical work and it can get very hot inside the building during the summer months. We don't use complicated language or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just a local mill serving the people and the traders who come to Od Bajar. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a broken belt or cleaning out a clog. It is just part of the daily routine for us. We take things as they come and try to do a solid job every day.
