Meeta Food Technology

Our place is at Plot No-1/97 in Phase-4 of GIDC, Suraj Point. This is right in Vitthal Udyognagar. If you’ve ever been to this GIDC, you know it’s a massive place with lots of different factories. Meeta Food Technology is our little corner of it. We work on machines and tech specifically for food processing. It’s a niche area, but it keeps us very busy. The workshop is always humming with the sound of testing. We have to keep things fairly clean because of the nature of the work. It’s not like a typical greasy machine shop. We have a small office where we look at blueprints and designs. Most of us have been in the food tech industry for years, so we’ve seen a lot of changes. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream. We just build stuff that helps people process their food products better. The area gets really dusty during the dry season, and the roads in the GIDC can be a bit bumpy. We don’t have a big HR department or anything. We just talk to each other over lunch. If a machine isn't working right, we all huddle around it until we find the fix. It’s a practical, hands-on way to run a business. We stay focused on the tasks at hand and try to get things done right.
