We work out of 102 in the Shivam Complex, which is right in Nana Bazar in Vallabh Vidyanagar. It is a pretty good spot because there are always students and people walking around. Our shop is on the first floor. We spend most of our time at workbenches filled with soldering irons, wires, and circuit boards. It is a bit of a mess sometimes with all the small parts scattered around, but we know where everything is. We deal with all sorts of electronic components. It's a lot of sitting and looking at small things, so we have bright lights over all the tables. The complex itself is fairly busy with other offices and shops nearby. Sometimes we step out to the balcony to see what’s happening in the bazaar below when we need a break from the screens. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know our way around a motherboard. The office has a few chairs for visitors, but they usually end up covered in manuals or spare parts. We just take things as they come and try to fix whatever is brought to us or assemble what is needed. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to a factory. We just stay focused on the electronics and try to keep up with all the new bits and pieces that come into the market. It is a small place but it serves us well.
