Shiv Dugdhalaya

Shiv Dugdhalaya is our small shop located at the Ganesh crossing on Amul Dairy Road in Anand. If you know the area, you know it’s a very famous spot because of the dairy history here. We are right on the corner where people pass by all day long. The shop is quite simple. We have the usual milk containers, some fridges, and a counter where we serve everyone. It’s a very busy street, especially in the mornings when everyone is out getting their groceries. We have been here for a long time, so we know most of the people in the neighborhood by name. We don't have any fancy marketing or slogans. We just open up early in the morning, usually before the sun is fully up, to get ready for the first customers. The shop is small, so things can get a bit cramped when it's busy, but we manage. We don't have air conditioning, just the breeze coming in from the open front. Anand is a nice place to work, even if it gets a bit dusty near the road. We spend our time checking the stock, cleaning the counters, and talking to the regulars. It’s a straightforward business. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a local dairy shop doing its best to serve the people who walk through the door every day. We just try to keep things fresh and the floor swept.
