Annapurna Rice & Pulse Mills

At Annapurna Rice & Pulse Mills we are located out in Mahijta which is in the Mahemdubad area of Kheda. Our days are filled with the sound of the milling machines processing different kinds of rice and pulses. It is a big facility and there is always something going on whether it is unloading bags from a truck or checking the quality of the grain. We have been in this part of Kheda for quite some time so we are familiar with how things work around here. The air is often thick with the smell of pulses and the sound of the sorting machines. It is not an easy job and it involves a lot of manual labor and staying on your feet for most of the day. We don't really have a big office with air conditioning we mostly just stay out where the work is happening. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult like when it is humid and the grain doesn't dry properly but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill around we just focus on getting our work done and keeping the machines in good working order. The people who work here are mostly from the local area and we all just work together to get the orders out on time. It is a basic practical business and that is how we like to keep it.
