We are located right on G T Rd in Amritsar, which is a very busy spot to be. Shaheed Darshan Singh Pheruman Public School has been standing here for quite some time. If you drive past the 143001 area, you’ve probably seen the gate. The traffic outside is always moving, but once you step inside, it’s a bit different. We have a courtyard where the kids gather for assembly every morning. It can get dusty because of the road nearby, but we sweep it regularly. The teachers here are just normal people trying to get the kids through their lessons. We use the standard textbooks and follow the usual schedule. There’s no big corporate vibe here; it feels more like a local family-run place in some ways. We have several classrooms spread across the floors, and they’re usually full. Sometimes the intercom doesn't work right, so we just shout down the hall. We focus on the basics of reading, writing, and math. The students come from all around this part of Amritsar. We don’t spend much time on decorations or fancy stuff. It’s an honest school where work gets done. You’ll see the staff busy with registers or talking to parents near the entrance. It’s just a part of the daily life on G T Road. We don't have any high-tech gadgets in every room, just the usual desks and a few fans. It's a very practical setup for the families in our local community. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
