Adarsh Model School

Adarsh Model School is located right in the heart of Amritsar, specifically in Guru Bazar. Being near Luthra Market means it is always a very lively area to be in. If you know the 143001 area, you know how busy these streets can get with shoppers, carts, and rickshaws. Our school is a part of that daily bustle. We open up early in the morning before the market really gets going. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes in these old streets, but that’s just the character of Amritsar. Inside the school, things are a bit calmer than out on the street. We have our classrooms set up simply. There’s no big corporate office here. It’s just us teachers and the staff making sure the day goes smoothly. We deal with the usual school stuff—chalk dust, heavy bags, and the noise of kids talking during their lunch breaks. Since we are so close to Guru Bazar, we often hear the sounds of the city throughout the day. It’s a practical place for local families to send their children. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local school doing our job in a very busy part of town. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the shopkeepers and the people in the market by name. It’s a very grounded way to live and work.
