Alexandra School

You can find Alexandra School at 8 Queens Road, right by the bus stand here in Amritsar. Being so close to the bus stand means it’s always busy around our gates with people traveling in and out of the city. We’ve been at this 143001 address for a long time, and the building shows its history. It’s a sturdy old place that has seen many generations of students. We don’t go in for all those modern marketing tricks or polished corporate speak. We are just a local school trying to do right by the families who send their children here. The rooms are simple, the desks are well-used, and the playground is where the kids spend their breaks. Amritsar is a city with a lot of character, and we feel like our school fits right into that. On any given morning, you’ll see the rush of parents dropping off their kids before heading to work. We just try to keep things running on time and make sure the lessons are taught. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a pipe leaks or a window needs fixing, but we handle it as it comes. It’s a practical, everyday kind of place. We don't promise anything other than a place to learn and a staff that shows up every day to do their jobs. That's just the way it is on Queens Road, plain and simple.
