Kamal Jyoti Public School

Kamal Jyoti Public School is located at Plot No-1A in New Azad Nagar, right off S W Road in Amritsar. It’s a neighborhood school through and through. We’re situated in a residential part of the city, so most of our students just walk over from their homes nearby. The school building is simple, sitting on its own plot in the middle of the local houses. We’ve been here for quite some time, and many of the parents today were actually students here themselves years ago. It’s a nice cycle to see. We don't have a big fancy campus with swimming pools or anything like that. What we have are solid classrooms, a small playground, and a group of teachers who actually care about what they’re doing. The atmosphere is pretty informal; you’ll often see teachers chatting with parents at the gate during pickup time. We keep our operations very straightforward. There isn’t a lot of bureaucracy here; if a parent has a problem, they just come in and talk to us. We try to keep the kids busy with their studies and a few activities here and there. It’s a busy place during the day, filled with the usual school sounds. By the time the afternoon sun hits S W Road, the kids are heading home and things quiet down until the next morning. It’s just a normal, local school doing its best for the kids in Azad Nagar.
