Rise Land Public High School

Rise Land Public High School is located right off G T Road in Warpal. Being so close to the main road means there is always something going on nearby. It’s a handy spot for families living in the surrounding villages. The school building has been standing for quite some time. We have a decent number of students coming in from all over the Amritsar area. Usually, the mornings are the busiest time because of the traffic on G T Road. Teachers show up and start getting their rooms organized before the kids arrive. It's not a huge campus, but we make the most of the space we have. There are classrooms lined up along the hallways and a central area where everyone gathers. We spend a lot of time on the basics, making sure the students keep up with their reading and math. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows to let the breeze in. It’s a very local kind of place. Most of the staff live nearby, so they know the families quite well. We don’t have any big slogans or anything like that. We just open the gates every morning and do our jobs. The kids bring their lunch boxes and eat together under the shade when the weather allows it. It’s a simple routine that repeats every day. By the time three o’clock rolls around, the buses are lined up and ready to go back home.
