Kaur Amninder Architect

I run things out of House No.191 in Anteryami Colony, just outside the Chatti Wind Gate. It’s a familiar neighborhood, and everyone sort of knows everyone else around here. Being an architect in a place like this means you see a bit of everything. Most of the time, I’m sitting at my desk with a bunch of rolled-up papers and a laptop that gets too hot. People stop by to talk about adding a room or fixing up an old house. It isn't a high-pressure corporate environment. It’s more like a conversation over some tea. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and I’ve learned that things rarely go exactly to plan on a construction site. You just have to deal with the surprises as they come. I handle the drawings, the permits, and the back-and-forth with the contractors. It can be a headache sometimes, but it feels good when a project finally finishes and looks like the sketch. The Chatti Wind Gate area is busy, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. I don't use a lot of big words or fancy software tricks if they aren't needed. I just want to make sure the building is solid and the owner is happy with how it turned out. It’s just me here, working through the pile of work one drawing at a time. I like the independence of it and the chance to help my neighbors build their homes.
