We are working out of the Narmada Cement-Jafarabad Works here in the Amreli district of Gujarat. It’s located near Jafarabad, and the pin code is 365540 if you're looking for it. This place is quite a bit different from a city office since we are right where the action is. Being at the works means there is always dust and noise, but that is just the cement business for you. We have been here for a while now, dealing with the daily grind of production and getting things shipped out. It is a big site, and there's always something going on with the machinery or the trucks. We don't really do the whole polished corporate thing here. It’s more about wearing boots and getting the job done. The weather in this part of Gujarat can get pretty hot, especially in the summer months. Most of the folks working here are locals from around the district. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep the wheels turning. It is hard work but it’s honest. You won't find any fancy slogans on our walls. Just people working together to move a lot of cement. It’s a practical environment through and through. That’s how we operate every day at the Jafarabad plant for Ultratech Cement Ltd.
