Ultratech Cement , Unit Narmada Cement-Jafrabad

Our office is right here in the Narmada Cement Colony, specifically at C-9/4, which is part of the larger Jafrabad area in the Amreli district. Living and working in the same colony makes things pretty straightforward for us. You get to know everyone around here because we’re all part of the same community and we see each other every day. The plant is nearby, and we handle the local side of things for the Unit Narmada Cement part of the business. Gujarat is a busy place for building these days, and Jafrabad has its own rhythm that we've come to enjoy. We spend a lot of time checking on supplies and talking to the drivers who come through with their trucks. It’s a dusty kind of life, but it’s honest work that needs to be done. We don't have much use for fancy corporate talk or those polished brochures you see in big cities. Most of our day is spent looking at manifests and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly before they head out. The weather in Amreli can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting and the coordination done early in the morning when it’s still a bit cool. Being tucked away in the colony means we’re close to the heart of the operation. It’s not a glamorous setup, just some desks, some chairs, and a lot of paperwork regarding the cement loads. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the machinery feel like background noise. It’s just how things are here.
