You can find us at B-60 in the Shree Rang Society, right across from the Dutt Mandir on Chittal Road in Amreli. It’s a well-known landmark, so people usually don’t have much trouble finding us. The temple across the way brings a lot of people to this street, especially on certain days, so there is always something going on outside our door. Working here for Ultratech, we mostly handle the local supply for this district. The weather in Amreli can be quite harsh, with very dry summers that make the yard quite dusty. We spend a good part of the morning just sweeping up and getting the records straight. The society itself is generally quiet, which is a nice contrast to the noise on Chittal Road. We have a small team here, just a few of us who have been together for a few years. We know most of the truck drivers by name, and they usually stop for a quick glass of water when they drop off a load. It’s a simple routine of checking the stock, answering the landline, and making sure the orders are ready for pickup. We don’t have any fancy posters or big displays. It’s just a practical workspace where we get our daily tasks finished. When the sun starts to go down, the area around the temple gets peaceful, and that’s usually when we start wrapping things up for the day. It is honest work and we stay busy.
