J.K.Lakshmi Cement Ltd

I’m staying over at Quarter No F-166 in the village area in Kovaya, but I work for J.K.Lakshmi Cement. It’s a bit of an interesting setup here in the Amreli district of Gujarat, living near the industrial site. Being right in the middle of a cement-heavy region means work is always on the mind. I handle the local logistics and keep track of how the cement is moving through this part of the state. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking on trucks. I don’t have a big office with a view; usually, I’m just working from my desk or out in the field. There’s no marketing spin here, just the reality of the cement industry in rural Gujarat. It gets hot, the work is heavy, and sometimes the schedules get messed up because of the weather or mechanical issues. We just deal with it and keep going. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way of living and working that suits the people in this area. We aren't doing anything special, just making sure the supply chain doesn't break down.
