Aradhya Ujhani Up Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Lalganj Shaeedabudaun. Shishu Pal is the one who looks after the main operations. We are mostly farmers ourselves, so we know what the daily grind feels like. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time out in the heat. Ujhani is the local area we focus on. We decided to pull our resources together because it's harder to do everything alone. The office is just a simple room with some chairs and a desk. We don't spend much on decorations. Most of our time is spent out in the fields anyway. Budaun is a place where people work hard. We have our fair share of challenges, like when the prices change or the water is low. But we stick together. It’s a local effort through and through. We don't use big words or have meetings in boardrooms. We just meet up where it's convenient and talk. Sometimes we drink tea and discuss the harvest. It’s a practical way of doing things. We’ve known each other for years. It’s about being part of the land. We don't have any big secrets. We just try to get the work done as best as we can without making a fuss. It’s about making the most of what we have. Sometimes we just sit and watch the sunset after a long day of work. It helps us remember why we do this in the first place.
