Khairaagaz Prerna Samriddhi Producer Company Limited is our small group based in Pipal Gaon Biharipur. We operate out of Banwari Lal’s house in the village. This isn't a high-tech operation; it's just a group of local people from Aligarh who decided to work together to survive. Farming is what we know. Most of us grew up watching our fathers and grandfathers in these same fields. We thought that by forming this producer company, we could handle the business side of things a little better than we were doing before. It’s not always easy. Sometimes we struggle with the markets or the costs of getting things to the trucks. But having a group means we aren't facing these things by ourselves. We spend most of our time out in the dirt, making sure the crops are growing like they should. Our address is right in the heart of Biharipur, so everyone around here knows us. We don't use big words or have a mission statement on the wall. We just want to get through the season and make sure everyone has what they need for the next one. It’s practical work. It’s honest work. Sometimes we get things wrong, but we learn as we go along. If you come by, you’ll probably find us talking about the latest harvest or the price of wheat and seeds. We are just regular people trying to make a living.
