Bhoosamraddhi Producer Company Limited is run out of Vinod Kumar’s place at 121 Moh Uchaan in Atrauli. It’s a typical local setup where the line between home and work is a bit blurry. We started this because we wanted to do something for the farmers in Atrauli. Most of us have been involved in agriculture since we were kids. We don't have a corporate office with a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting on the porch or in the front room talking about the latest crop prices. We handle the business of buying and selling for the local producers. It’s a lot of work to keep track of everything, and sometimes we lose a bit of sleep over it. The neighborhood of Moh Uchaan is where we grew up, so we know everyone around here. We try to help out when someone’s harvest isn't doing well or when they can't find a buyer for their goods. It’s not always profitable, and there are months when things are really tight. But we stick with it because it’s our community. We don’t use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just help move grain and vegetables and try to make sure everyone gets a fair price. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us connected to the land. We aren't trying to be big shots, just trying to keep the Atrauli farming spirit alive. Every season brings new challenges, but we face them together.
