We started Sakatpur Farmer Producer Company Limited right here at House Number 93. Most of us grew up around these fields, so it felt right to get together. Farming is hard work, and we all know how the market can be tricky for a single person to handle. By coming together in Sakatpur, we share the load. It’s not fancy. We just look at what crops are doing well and try to help each other out with seeds or getting things to the market. Sometimes the weather doesn't help, but having a group makes it a bit easier to manage. Our office is just a regular spot in the village where we sit down and talk about the season. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office. It's just a group of farmers. We deal with the daily stuff like transport and finding decent prices. If you walk by H. No. 93, you’ll likely see a few of us sitting outside talking about the rain or the price of fertilizer. It is just how things go here. We try to keep things simple because that's what works for us. There is always something to do, whether it's checking the soil or sorting out some paperwork for the group. We've been here for a while and plan to stay. It's about getting the work done every day and making sure the crops get where they need to go without too much trouble. We just take it one day at a time.
