R. J. Engineering Works

We’re located at unit number 4 in Gokul Estate, right near the Laxmivijay Iron & Brass Factory. If you’re coming from the main road, we’re just opposite the Advance Mill Chawli in Tawdipura. It’s an industrial area, so it’s pretty gritty and loud, but that’s where engineering happens. We’ve got a solid space here where we handle a lot of metalwork and repair jobs. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of us are in overalls most of the day. The shop floor is full of lathes and welding gear. It’s been our home for quite some time. We aren’t interested in being the biggest shop in the city. We just want to do the jobs that come in properly. Sometimes the old machines give us a bit of trouble, but we know how to fix them. People around Tawdipura know us as the place that just gets on with it. We don’t have a website or a marketing department. We just have our hands and the tools in the shed. Sometimes it’s hot and dusty, especially in the summer, but we don't mind. We just open the big doors and keep working. If you need something made or fixed, you just walk in and ask for one of us. It’s a very basic way of doing business, but it’s worked for us for years.
