We’ve been here at E4&5 in the Riico Industrial Area for a good while now. It’s mostly just us and the machines. Some days the shop floor gets pretty loud with all the metalwork going on, but that’s just how it is. We spend most of our time dealing with the lathes and tools. The guys show up early, usually around eight, and we get the power on. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. There’s a lot of grease and the smell of coolant in the air most of the time. We have a small area where we keep the paperwork, but most of the real work happens out back where the inventory is stacked up. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the right gate because the signs around here aren't great. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. If it’s hot outside, it’s even hotter inside, especially in the afternoons. We have a few fans going, but they mostly just move the warm air around. People stop by sometimes to ask about specific parts, and we look through the shelves to see what’s left. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to check a shipment. It's just a regular workshop doing what needs to get done every day until the sun goes down and we lock up the main doors.
