Khalsa Properties

We have been here on Station Road for quite some time now. Mostly we just help people who are looking for a place to stay or maybe sell their old family house. It gets busy here because of the trains and all the people coming through. We spend a lot of our day just talking to neighbors and keeping track of which shops are opening or closing. It's not a big fancy office, just a desk and a few chairs where we sit and go through paperwork. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times it is quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. People stop by to ask about prices in the area because they know we see what is happening every day. We don't really do anything fancy, just the basic stuff involved with property. If someone needs a small flat or a bigger plot near the tracks, we usually know who is selling. It takes a lot of walking around to keep up with everything. Most of the time it is just about making sure the documents are right so nobody gets a headache later. We like being part of the Station Road crowd. It’s a mix of different people every day. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, with new buildings coming up where old ones used to be. It keeps us occupied.
