Dagdi Tent House

Agra Gate is always crowded so getting the trucks in and out is a bit of a headache for us. We are based over in Dhola Bhata. Dagdi Tent House isn't some big corporation or anything. It is just a local place where we keep all the wedding supplies. We have piles of chairs stacked up to the ceiling in the back. The fabric for the shamianas is folded and kept on the shelves. When a customer comes in we sit down and talk about what they need for their event. No fancy brochures here at all. We just show them the physical things we have in the warehouse. The sun gets really hot when we are out setting up the stages. We drink a lot of tea while we work. Dhola Bhata has changed a lot over the years but our routine stays the same. We load the heavy poles and drive to the spot and start hammering things into the ground. It is noisy and very physical work. Sometimes we have to work through the entire night if the event is big. Our clothes usually have some dirt on them by the afternoon. That is just the nature of tent work. We have been doing this for years around the Agra Gate area. Most people around here know us by name. We don't spend money on big ads. We just do the work and move to the next job.
