Aman Iqbal Tent & Decoration

We spend a lot of time out here at Parbatpura Bypass. Our spot, Aman Iqbal Tent & Decoration, is right in the Khan Pura area. It gets pretty loud with all the trucks going past on the bypass, but you get used to the noise after a while. Most of our work involves moving heavy poles and folding up big pieces of cloth. My hands are usually a bit rough from the ropes. We have a lot of stuff stored here, from the big tent frames to the smaller decoration pieces that we use. Khan Pura is a busy place, and there is always something happening on the road. When the weather is hot, it gets really tough working outside, but the work has to be done. We keep our gear organized as much as we can, though things tend to get shuffled around when we are in a hurry to load the truck. Sometimes we sit on the folded tents and have tea while the traffic rolls by. It’s not the most quiet place to work, but it’s where we are. We've been at this location for a good bit now. Everyone around the bypass knows where we are. We don't have a big office or anything, just the storage and the yard where we keep the decorations. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. Sometimes the dust from the bypass gets into everything, but we just brush it off and keep going.
