Ajmereventscom is located at 323/4 Zabia Manzil on Todarmal Marg in the Civil Lines area. This part of the city is always buzzing with people and traffic. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We have shelves full of folders and notebooks because I still like to keep track of things on paper. We started this business because we knew a lot of people who could help with different parts of an event. We act as the middleman mostly. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to tent suppliers or musicians. It’s a lot of juggling. Sometimes a truck gets delayed or a person doesn't show up, and we have to find a way to fix it fast. We aren't a high-powered firm. We’re just local folks who know how to get things done. I’ve spent many hours sitting in Zabia Manzil just waiting for a call to come through. We don't use a lot of fancy technology. We just rely on the relationships we’ve built over the years. Some days are incredibly slow and we just sit around drinking tea, and other days we don't even have time to eat. It’s a bit of a rollercoaster, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just try to be practical and solve problems as they come up. That’s the real secret to this whole business, if you can even call it a secret. It keeps us going day after day.
