Ashok Tant House

Over at Ashok Tant House in Kishangarh, things are usually moving pretty fast. We are right in the Madanganj area, which everyone knows is a hub of activity. The streets are narrow and always full of people, so getting the trucks in and out is always a bit of a challenge. I spend a lot of my time just managing the space we have. The tents take up a lot of room, and we have to stack them carefully so they don't get ruined. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the pipes and joints. Madanganj is a place where you have to be on your toes. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to scramble to move things inside. The building we are in is old, but it does the job. I’ve been working here for years and I know every corner of this place. We don’t really have a big staff, just enough to get the loading done. My clothes usually have some dirt on them by mid-morning. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. Kishangarh is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat, but we stay busy. People come by to talk about their events, and we just listen and see what we have in the back. There isn't much to say about the shop itself. It’s just a practical space for our gear. We do our best to keep things moving along despite the crowds outside.
