Mahavesh Agro Producer Company Limited

You can find Mahavesh Agro over in Sonewadi, which is in the Sangamner area. We are set up at Bhaskar Dattatraya Sangale’s house. Sonewadi is a small village, and everyone pretty much knows everyone else. We started this producer company because we were tired of doing everything on our own. Sangamner is a big hub for farming, but out here in the village, we needed our own way to get things done. Bhaskar’s place is where we keep all the files and hold our meetings. Usually, we sit outside if the weather is nice. It’s a very simple setup. We deal with the crops grown right here in the district. There is no big warehouse or anything yet, just a small space for the basics. We talk about the soil, the water situation, and who needs what for the next season. It’s a slow process building a company like this from scratch. We don’t have any investors or big money behind us. It’s just the local farmers putting their heads together. Sometimes we argue about the best way to do things, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with your neighbors. We are just trying to make life a little bit easier for the families in Sonewadi by working as a group. It feels more like a community project than a real business most of the time.
