Agroanjangaon Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited

Agroanjangaon Mahila Farmer Producer Company Limited is a group of local women here in Anjangaon Surji. We all work in the fields and decided to come together to make things a bit easier for everyone involved. Our main spot is over at Sumant Umakant Ladole’s place, care of Umkant Ladoletq in Anjangaon Surji. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. We are just regular people from the village. Most days we are busy with the crops and the house, but we make time for the company because it helps us get better prices and share tools. Anjangaon Surji is a good place to live, even if the work is hard sometimes. We didn't really know much about starting a company at first, but we are learning as we go. It’s mostly about the women in the community having a voice. We talk about the seeds and the rain and how to get our produce to market without too much trouble. It gets busy during harvest time, and that’s when you’ll see us all gathered around the Ladole house. We don’t have fancy brochures. We just have our hands and our work. It’s a simple way of doing things but it’s ours. We hope to keep the group going for a long time so our kids can see what we built together. It's just hard work and a bit of hope really.
