Agrobaba Producer Company Limited started because a bunch of us in the Shrirampur area needed a better way to handle our farm business. We are located over at Gut No. 116 in Bramhangaon, right near Harigaon. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, but during harvest, things get pretty busy around here. We aren't big city business people. We are just local folks who know a lot about dirt and plants. Farming in this part of the country is always a bit of a gamble with the weather and everything else. Having this group helps us share the load a bit. We spend our days looking at the crops and trying to figure out the best way to move them. It’s not always easy and we make mistakes like anyone else does. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing but we sit down and work through it together in the office. People around Bramhangaon know where we are if they need to talk about seeds or tools. We don’t use any fancy talk here. It’s just about getting the work done and making sure we can keep our farms running for another year. The building isn't much to look at, just a practical place for us to meet and store things when we need to. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, so we just do what we know.
