Our company, Kmpatil Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located at House Number 82 in the village of Nanja, within the Bhokardan area of Aurangabad. We are a small-scale operation run by people who actually live and work in this community. Farming around here is a way of life, and we thought it was time to put our heads together to make things a bit more organized. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular house where we keep our records and meet up to chat about the business. We don't have any interest in sounding like a big corporation because that’s not who we are. We are the ones who are out in the sun all day. We deal with the soil and the crops and all the problems that come with them. When we started this producer company, it was about making sure the farmers in Nanja had a way to pool their resources. It helps when we need to buy things in bulk or when we are looking for better ways to sell our produce. It’s hard work and the days are long, but it feels better knowing we are all in this together. We don't use big words or make fancy promises. We just try to do the right thing for the farmers who have joined up with us. It's a simple, local business through and through, and we hope to keep it that way for the next generation.
