If you are looking for us, you have to head over to Sardar Patel Colony. Wood Star (India) Pvt Ltd is in Pavan Plaza, right across from the big Sardar Patel Statue. Our office covers rooms 201, 202, and 203 on the second floor. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it keeps us moving. Being right at Naranpura like this means there is always something going on outside. From our windows, we can see the traffic circling the statue all day long. The office is usually filled with samples of wood and different boards. It’s not a showroom where everything is shiny and perfect. It’s more of a working space where we handle the paperwork and talk to builders or guys who are fixing up their houses. We’ve been here in this spot for a while now. The walls are covered in calendars and notes we’ve scribbled down. Usually, there is a stack of files on every desk because there is always some order to track or a delivery to check on. We have our tea brought in from the stall downstairs twice a day. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have fancy receptionists or anything like that. You just walk in and one of us will be there at a desk, probably on the phone or looking over a ledger. It's just a regular local business doing its thing in a busy part of town. Most days are pretty good.
