If you are looking for Arodrape, you have to look behind the Mirch Masala restaurant near C G Road. We are at 55 Swastik Avenue. It is a bit tucked away, which is nice because it stays a little quieter than the main road outside. We mostly work with curtains and different kinds of fabrics here. The shop is usually full of big rolls of cloth and there is always a bit of thread on the floor that we have to sweep up. We don't have a big, shiny showroom with bright lights. It is more of a practical workspace where we sit down with people and figure out what they need for their windows. My cousin started the business, and a few of us have been here since the very beginning. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to do a good job so that people come back to us later on. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when we have a lot of orders at once, but we always figure it out eventually. We don't have any corporate slogans or a list of "values" on the wall. We just know how to measure and sew. A lot of our customers come from Femina Town across the way. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and looking through fabric samples with them. That is really the whole story of what we do.
