Dipali Ceramics

We are situated at Plot 412 in Phase - IV of the Naroda G.I.D.C estate. Dipali Ceramics is a fairly simple operation where we focus on making various ceramic items. The shop floor is usually a bit of a mess with clay scraps and water, but that is just how it goes with this kind of work. We have a few machines that do the heavy mixing and pressing, and they make a lot of noise throughout the day. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small space near the front door where we keep our ledgers and take phone calls. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when we are moving the heavy crates of finished goods. The sun can get really hot on the corrugated roof, so we try to get the most difficult tasks done early in the morning. We don't do much in the way of promotion; people usually hear about us through other businesses in the estate. We’ve been at this location for a good while and we know most of the neighbors. Sometimes we share a truck with the guy next door if we have a small order going to the same place. It is just a routine of making batches, checking for defects, and getting them packed up. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping the workshop running and making sure the staff gets paid every month. It’s honest, steady work for all of us.
